Short Courses, Summer Schools, Student Trips, Workshops (organized and co-organized)

International summer schools focusing on one particular topic help participants make good and speedy progress and shall broaden the horizon of the research field. Due to the interdisciplinary structure of SRP NUPUS, the summer schools target Early Career Investigators (ECIs) in one year, where the mathematical foundations necessary for our interdisciplinary research concept will be taught. Thus, researchers with different backgrounds working in different groups will acquire a common basis of knowledge and skills, facilitating the interaction within the research training group.

The focus of short courses and summer schools is obviously on educating young researchers in the fields of SRP-NUPUS. For ground-breaking research which extends the frontiers of human knowledge very often combined, international and interdisciplinary, efforts are necessary. SRP-NUPUS therefore offers the possibility to organize special issue workshops, where senior and junior researchers meet for several days to discuss a very specific research topic and its related problems in extensive detail.
